This was our last official one-hour show of the semester! And my goodness, it was quite eventful. If you download this show from the archive, you will be hearing 23 minutes of completely unheard material! That's because the first 23 minutes of our show did not broadcast. We actually fixed the broadcasting system thing ourselves.

Maybe it's a good thing that the whole thing didn't broadcast, though. It was a show full of blunders and boo-boos. Listening to it again, though, it's actually pretty entertaining!

Last week was, in fact, NOT our last show! (Which is a good thing, because the first 23 minutes of the show did not broadcast. Ben and I (Alex) actually fixed the broadcasting problem ourselves.)

Anyway, back to the zinger. Our show will air on Thursday, 12/17, from 2 to 4 p.m.

WHAT?!?!?!?!#?!(%!$%$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$44

That's right! We will have a special two-hour end-of-semester grand finale on Thursday! Since it's marathon programming, we're going to play whatever the hell we want (which we already do in the first place).

So, dearest friends who are now home (or will be by Thursday) from your respective universities, come join us in the studio! It's going to be a party!!! I'm even going to play "It's Time to Party" by Andrew W.K. to start the show!

The Deadbeat Godfather Hour won the Best Hard Rock Thursday Show for the semester! There was "an overwhelming response" by the Chapman Radio staff to our show due to "what was, at times, hilarious banter," and because our show epitomizes what the hard rock category was originally created for!

So on behalf of Ben and I, I would like to give a huge shout-out to our listeners who tuned in every week (or at least once during the semester)! I'm glad you guys enjoy listening to the show as much as we enjoy putting it on.

Now, tune in tomorrow (12/10) for our final show of the semester! It's going to be epic!

Also: stay tuned for information about marathon programming on the week of 12/14. We might have a two-hour show on Thursday, 12/17!
